The suites in our luxury villa form a harmonious trio. Though they are each unique, they share certain similarities. The colours, comfort and character that define them all have one thing in common: they reflect the soul of U Mulinu.

It is called the “master” suite, the mistress. Because it is the most spacious (it can accommodate a couple with a child). Because its bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and a shower. Because behind its windows, one can see the Madonetta lighthouse, which watches over the Mediterranean and the entrance to the port of Bonifacio.

The name of this suite comes from its orientation towards the stairs of the Roy d'Aragon. Their presence down there, behind the ramparts of Bonifacio, gives it a special aura: here, no television, but right next door, a library to immerse oneself in history. An indoor pool that forms behind the window. And shades of an extreme softness.

It is the most secret of the trio. The most intimate. You access it via a path and internal stairs. Light and warm tones, comforting luxury, this suite is a true cocoon. In front of it, the Bastion and the Arinella beach tell the story of the gentle Bonifacio way of life.

Once upon a time … a dream cametrue

The story begins in the 13^th century with the construction of a grain mill. Seven centuries later, when only the mill tower remained, architects came to design a residence built around this ruin. There, upon the cliffs of Bonifacio, with their breathtaking sea views. For the Limongi family, it was a veritable siren song. Every time they went out to sea, the children and parents alike would watch it fade into the distance, into the Bonifacio countryside, always thinking one thing: 'if only …'. And then, one day in 2022, fate intervened! The dream became reality! And that's where the challenge began: to preserve the site's authenticity, honouring this privileged witness to incredible and legendary adventures and opening it up to travellers while ensuring it remains part of Bonifacio's history for centuries to come.

U Mulinu's silhouette stands on the cliffs of Bonifacio like a sentinel. A watchtower overlooking a rare landscape, whose unique design forces us to wonder: what is this tower with its curves reaching up towards the sky? What lies within these walls, which we can sense have been skilfully designed and respectfully built? And how should we approach this house of great character? And so, we observe it. We make our way around it, along its sides. We admire its harmony with the surrounding lands: its white stones mirror the limestone cliffs, its vegetation infused with the delicious scents of the Mediterranean. Its very soul reflects the image of Bonifacio. A soul that pierces us as soon as we set foot inside this extraordinary mansion.

Three outdoor lounges laid out on either side of the house offer shelter from the eastern and western winds, and even storms! And in winter, the season invites you to take refuge inside, nestled before the fire, on the cosy sofas, gently rocked by the music of the great outdoors.
